II. GEI~RAL INFORMATION (2.03.3) <br />2.I GII~RAL <br />-a <br />Trinidad Basin Mining, Inc. (TBM) operates a contour mine located <br />approximately six miles c~,est of Ludlow, Colorado, accessed by County <br />Road 44.0. TBM anticipates producing 240,000 tons per year of coal <br />from the mine which is operating pursuant to Permit Number 79-53. The <br />coal is hauled to the off-site loadout for crushing, sizing and loading <br />into railway cars. <br />The purpose of this sutmission is to effect compliance with CRS <br />34-33-101 et. seq.
