Coulson Excavating Company, Inc. -Stroh Gravel Pit <br />Exhibit A -Legal Description <br />The Stroh gravel pit is located in S W '/. Sec 14 and NW '/. Sec 23, TSN, R68W, Lorimer <br />County pazcel numbers 85140-00-009, 85140-00-007 and 85230-00-004. The permit azea <br />is approximately I I ~ acres and the pit azea is approximately : t{ Z . acres. The Coulson <br />Excavating Company's ICirtright Gravel Pit is located directly west of the proposed Stroh <br />Gravel Pit, and an interstate highway and frontage road aze located 0.5 miles to the west. <br />The Big Thompson River is located directly north of the project area. One landowner <br />owns a large pazcel of land north of County Road 20E, and two landowners hold land <br />adjacent to the Big Thompson River on the project's northeastern boundary. Two <br />occupied residences aze located within 1,200 feet of the proposed project boundary. <br />There is also one unoccupied house within the proposed project boundary that is used as <br />a storage shed.
