approximately is to 2 tons per acre pre year on the irrigated lands to approximately s ton
• per acre per year on the dryland pasture.
The major limiting factor on irrigation and management in the AVF downstream of the
mine site is the limited quantity of water avai]able to implement such practices. Stollsteimer
Creek is highly over adjudicated. A review of the records indicates that adjudications are
over 120 cfs. As shown in Table 14, Stollsteimer Creek Water Rights, there is a total of 10.5
cfs and 6 acre-feet allocated for use downstream of the mine site. The basin ranking
indicates that priority of these water rights is generally low, except on 2.5 cfs. It is doubtful
that further adjudications will be made. The Chimney Rock Mine surface water monitoring
program shows that flows directly above the mine site generally range between 0 to 3 cfs
during the summer months when irrigation activities occur. Therefore, it would appear that
significant increases in the amount of agronomic management downstream of Chimney Rock
Coal Mine area unlikely.
2.06.9 Augering
This section applies to those individuals who conduct or intend to conduct surface coal
mining and reclamation operations utilizing augering operations. No further mining activities
are proposed at the mine site. In addition, subsidence monitoring associated with this
activity has been concluded as approved by TR-17.
•
2.06-4
