EXHIBIT D
Mining Plan

Mining at this site may commence on or about June 1, 1995. Mining should be complete
by June 1, 2000. Upon completion of operations at this site, reclamation bill be
implemented.
2. Topsoil at this site ranges in depth from 4 to 8 inches, with an average depth of
approximately 6 inches. The topsoil will be stripped and stockpiled along the western and
eastern boundaries of the permitted area, as shown on map E-1, Total topsoil will consist
of approximately 12,000 cubic yards at this site. The stockpiled topsoil will be stabilized
by compaction and will be sprayed with mulch if further stabilization is necessary. Upon
completion of the mining operations, the topsoil will be redistributed throughout the
permitted area at a uniform depth and seeded as described in Exhibit E.
This mining operation will consist of the mining of borrow and sand. The sand operation
will consist of the processing of this material implementing the use of a wash plant.
The overburden (which will also be the mined borrow) ranges in depth from 10 to 22 feet.
The average thickness of the overburden is approximately 14 feet. Total reserves within
this permitted area of borrow would be approximately 400,000 cubic yards. Any borrow
mined to expose sand, if not removed, will be stockpiled in the same manner as topsoil,
along the south boundary.
4. The sand to be mined ranges in depth from 15 to 30 feet. The sand will be mined
following the excavation of the borrow.
The sand will be mined at an approximate depth of 20 feet. All mining will follow existing
land contours so as not to leave any significant holes in the property.
5. The primary components of this mining operation consists of the processing plant and
ponds. The sand will be processed by a wash plant with the product material going from
the plant to the stockpiling area via conveyors and stackers. The wash plant will be fed by
loaders and dozers. The pond system will incorporate a large settling pond, a fresh water
pond and lines connecting all components.
This site will incorporate two sets, with the initial advancement being in the eastern
portion of the permitted area. The second phase will entail the mining of the western
portion of this site. This will require the movement of the plant at the approximate half
way point. The ponds, stockpiling area, access road and all other components will
remain in their original locations throughout the mining operations.
There will be an access road utilized for entrance into this permit site off of County Road
V as shown on map E-1.
