What little topsoil ir, available on the disturbed s-:te will <br />be removed, atockpiied and seeded (to prevent erosion) in [he area out- <br />lined on the detailed map (Exhibit C-2). <br />All buildings, fuel tanks, equipment, puwer lines and other man made <br />improvements will be removed. Portals will be sealed. All rock dumps, <br />roads, building sites and other disturbances will be re-contoured when <br />possible (according to the U. S. Department of Energy requirements), <br />covered with the previously stockpiled topsoil and seeded with the folloir- <br />ing need mixture recommended by the U. S. Department of Energy: <br />SPECIES <br />POUNDS PER ACRE <br />Sand Dropseed ~ 1(2 <br />Indian Rice Crass 2 <br />4 Bing Saltbush 3 <br />Created Wheat Grass 3 <br />Weste-^ Wheat Grass 3 <br />Yellow Sweet Clover 2 <br />Total 13 1/2 <br />Pioneer Uravan will follow a play of reclamation suitable for wild- <br />life habitat, dry range land and for -ecreational uses ae se[ forth by the <br />U. S. Department of Energy r r~,at future time when mining operations arc• <br />completed. <br />The portal can only be tcmporari,y scaled :,s rrquired by the U. S. <br />Department of Enr.ryy. F.rosi~n of rock damp slopes is virtually ~.on-existent <br />due to the aired climate.
