It contains 5 to 20 percent coarse fragments. It is slightly <br />acid to moderate alkaline. The B2t horizon is 15 to 35 percent coarse <br />fragments. It is medium acid to mildly alkaline. The contrasting IIC <br />horizon is slightly acid to mildly alkaline. <br />Coalmont Series (X73) <br />The Coalmont series is a member of the fine, montmorillonitic <br />family of Borollic Paleargids.
