. PUBLIC NOTICE <br />D.G. HUSKIN CONSTRUCTION, CO., P.O. BOX 61, WETMORE, CO 81253, phone (719) <br />784-0415, has filed an application for a Regular (112) Construction Materials Operation <br />Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions <br />of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The <br />proposed mine is known as the VELARDE PIT ,and is located at or near Sections 33,8 <br />34, Township 26 South, Range 67 West, and Sections 3,& 4, Township 27 South, Range <br />67 West, 6~h Prime Meridian Huerfano County, Colorado. <br />The proposed date of commencement is Spring, 2003, and the proposed date of <br />completion is Spring 2030. The proposed future use of the land is rangeland. <br />Additional information and tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman St. ,Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) <br />866-3567, or at the Huerfano County Clerk and Recorder's office; County Court House, <br />401 Main Street, Suite 201, Walsenburg, CO.81089, (719) 738-2370 or the above-named <br />applicant. A complete copy of the application is available at the above-named County <br />Clerk and Recorder's office and at the Division's office. <br />• Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received <br />by the Division of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. <br />Please note that under the provision of C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et seo. Comments related to <br />noise, truck traffic, hours of operation, visual impacts, effects on property values and other <br />social economic concerns are issues not subject to this Office's jurisdiction. These <br />subjects, and similar ones, are typically addressed by your local governments, rather than <br />the Division of Minerals and Geology or the Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br />• <br />
