13) Dam Heieht <br />The dam height as measured from the bottom of the original ground to the bottom of <br />the emergency spillway is 9.9 feet. for this reason, the dam does not meet the large <br />impoundment criteria of Rule 4.05.9(3), the State Engineer's Office or C.R.S. 37-87- <br />105. <br />The attached inspection sheet covers other items related to the ongoing performance of <br />the pond at the time of the inspection. <br />I certify that the sediment pond at the Rimrock Mine has been constructed according to <br />the plans and is functioning well and that prudent state-of--the-art engineering has been <br />employed and the dam is sound, with no current environmental threats or construction <br />& maintenance problems. <br />~QP~Y C ~ lF <br />~~ <br />C~ <br />x0336 g; <br />~~©3 <br />
