Wetter Areas
Plum (Primus americana)
Chokecherry(Primus virginiana melanocarpa)
Golden Currant (Ribes aureum)
Buffaloberry (Shepherdia argentea)
Notes: 5 gal containers
If a significant invasion of noxious weeds occurs, the area will be mowed periodically for
control. Weeds will be mowed before they go to seed throughout the first growing season.
Mechanical control will be used as a first priority. Chemical methods will only be used if no
other alternative produces acceptable results.
Wildlife
The proposed reclamation plan does not propose to create wildlife habitat. All activities will be
planned considering the safety and protection of wildlife on the property. Some species may be
temporarily displaced by the mining activities. They are expected to re-establish with no
difficulty after the reclamation has been completed. This land has been actively cultivated
farmland for many years and does not serve as a corridor for wildlife nor a refuge.
Water
Disturbance of the area will be done to minimize the effect on the prevailing hydraulic balance as
follows:
a) The operator shall comply with all applicable Colorado water laws.
b) The operator shall comply with all applicable Federal and State water quality laws and
regulations.
c) The operator shall comply with all Federal and State Requirements for dredge and fill.
There are no anticipated requirements of this type of activity.
d) The operator shall regrade and backfill all sediment and siltation structures after mining
completion.
I
