~~~e~a~
Cocooaar~ow
•
thick beds of shale, siltstone, and sandstone of the Upper
Williams Fork Formation. Figure 3-5 shows the test interval
for We11 GBB-2.
Well GBB-3
We11 GBB-3 was completed within the Yampa River alluvium
at a depth of eight feet, so that the caater level within the al-
luvium could be tested. The well was cased and cement slurry
was poured from the land surface. The test interval for We11
GBB-3 shown on Figure 3-5 consists of unconsolidated coarse sand
and gravel.
3.3.3 Well Site GZ
• Well GZ-1 was started in the Upper Williams Fork For-
. mation. Drill cuttings were similar to those previously described
for this formation. The fine, white sands of the Twenty Mile
Sandstone first appeared in the drill cuttings at about 374 feet.
The well was drilled to 399 feet. After geophysical logs were
obtained (Figure 3-6), the casing was installed and cemented.
Well GZ-1 was completed within the Twenty :file Sandstone. Figure
3-6 shows the geophysical log and test interval for We11 GZ-1.
Well GZ-2
Well GZ-2 was drilled to a depth of 250 feet. The well
casing was installed and cemented. Well GZ-2 was completed with-
in soft, relatively clean sandstones and sandy shales of the Upper
Williams Fork Foraation. The test interval, above the "R" coal
seam, is shown on Figure 3-6.
•
3-15
