It is likely that the same scenario for ash
utilization could result in the boxcuts within Middle Pyeatt Gulch, There-
fore, Trapper proposed to establish an ash monitoring well at the north end of
the Ashmore pit boxcut in Middle Pyeatt drainage. The HI aquifers will be mon-
itored for potential impacts to the groundwater resource.
Finally Trapper intends to install a Parshall Flume and Stevens Recorder ae
two NPDES locations on our mine site. Flumes will be installed in Elk (010)
and Ute (008) Gulches for continued assurance of proper flow documentation
associated with these sites.
Sandi, if you have any questions please contact me.
Sincerely,
0
William Agnew
Sr. Envirorunental Engineer
wA/jb
~CDOH\MAY03)
c: J.M.
