• EXHIBIT "AA" <br />Protection of plant <br />3~ Critical Area Planting <br />Planted sites shall be protected from trampling and grazing until) plants are <br />well established. In heavy-use areas, critical area plantings should be protected <br />by fencing or barriers. <br />Woody seedling transplants may be protected from rodents and brothsing animals <br />by enclosing the plant in Vexar tubing or by painting with animal) repellent. <br />The Vexar tubing must be anchored to the soil by means of a lath~~or long wire <br />staple to prevent removal of the tubing by wind, <br />A. ManagemenC <br />1., Range seeding will be <br />undertaken only where grazing by <br />domestic livestock will be <br />controlled to permit plants to <br />become well established. <br />2. (1/8 - 1/4 <br />lb. ai. of Ranvel with 1/2 - I Ih. <br />ai. of 2, 4-D provides good <br />control of actively growing anneal <br />broadleafs in seedling growth <br />stage.
