I have enclosed
copies of two MLRD inspection reports and highlighted the sections which
describe observations relative to the seep they noted.
Based on MLRD's information, it does appear that this seep does exist.
But, the low volumes indicate that very little flow is likely to enter
pond 5 and almost no likelihood of this water being discharged to the
receiving water.
We recognize that the quality of such water is poor. For this reason, we
expect the permittee to visually monitor this water and notify the
division if volumes increase or other factors occur which may impact
state waters.
A section addressing these findings will be added to the draft renewal
permit (currently at public notice) prior to issuance.
iiinuiiiinmiii
v- "~~~
~~~~
~' % _~~ ~.~ 'Y
DEPARTMENT
~ 1gT6
.. ~
4210 EAST 11TH AVENUE DENVER.COLORADO 80220 PHONE (303) 320-8333
