l~

EXHIBIT B
tIINING PLAN

The gravel will be used as base material in the construction of county
roads. It is anticipated that approximately 20,000 tons will be used within
the year. The gravel will be removed to a depth of approximately 15 to
20 with a front end loader. The material will be hauled by dump truck
to the road construction site. There will be no stockpiling of top-
soil as the site is totally decomposed granite. If any suitable topsail
is encountered it will be removed and stockpiled. No other stockpiling
will occur unless the material is screened. If for some reason screen-
ing occurs the stockpile will be located within the existing pit area.
The proposed mining will proceed eastward from the existing pit area.
(See Exhibit C)
The largest amount of materials will be removed during the summer
months as this is when most road up-grading occurs.
