Colorado <br />RETENTION OF LIGHT USb ROADS _ <br />Dear Mr. Bmne1L• <br />This latter is in regard to planned reclamation activities our Bureau ofLand Managemrnt (BLM) <br />land north of and adjaoem to the Kerr (Mazy) Minn located tea aliles east of Walden in Jackson <br />County, Colorado. SpeciBcatly, the BLM prefers that the two following roads not he reclaimal., <br />but be kft in place for pertr~rnt use. . <br />Land Use: The cumnt ]and use is the area is for gazing, wildlife and hunting activities. The <br />roadways benefit the land use by providing defined access ialieu ofareas-country travtl and <br />creation of new routes. Following is a description of the loearioa of said roadways. <br />Location 1 (Pond "G" area): <br />SFA of the NW4 of Ste 26, R78W, T9N, 6e' PM, Jackson County, Colorado <br />This light use road intersecCS Jackson County Read 12E at a poira eppmxiaately 420 ft <br />west of the center of said Seaioa 26, The light use road erarnds approxitoauly 750 8 <br />north/northwest to a culvert m the Bush Draw crossing, thence northerly 1,500 ft to a <br />ridge having an Ekvation of 8,200 ft. This area is refereed u as the Pond G area <br />Reteutioa of the road will give access to BLM ]ands in the Iowa Bush Draw area, end to <br />the ridge crud upland NW of Bush Dtaw. <br />Location 2 (Mine Entrance Road): ~. .~ . ,.. . <br />NE4 of Sec 26 and the NW4 of Sec. 25, R78W, T9N, 6a PM, Jackson County, Colorado. <br />
