As you knaa, the <br />Trinidad Basin Mine, formerly the Del Agua Mine is approximately six <br />miles west of T+,~11ow and has been in existence since 1977. <br />In order to satisfy fh~le 2.05.5(1)(b) of the above regulations, <br />Trinidad Basin Mining must contact the surface owners of the land <br />within their permit boundary and solicit canrents on the proposed <br />post m;n;nq land use. 7t~erefore, Trinidad Basin Mining is seeking <br />your oo~m~ents on the proposed post m;n;nq land use detailed below. <br />A speedy reply to this request wwld be most appreciated, as Trinidad <br />Hasin Mining intends to subrnit the application by February 17, 1981 <br />to the Colorado Mined land Reclamation Division. <br />Trinidad Basin Mining intends to return the land to rangeland <br />and wildlife habitat upon ar~letion of mining, It is believed that <br />this is the best post mining land use for this land. <br />P.
