2.05.3(5) <br />• estimates of the acreage to be stripped of topsoil yearly, and file total acreage <br />of each proposed disturbance area, are given on Table 2.05.3(51-1. <br />Referring to Soils Resource Information, Section 2.04.9, it is <br />noted that topsoil from the proposed underground ricvelopment waste <br />disposal site is medium in nitrogen and low in phosphorus fertility. <br />Before any revegetion is done on this topsoil, 20 pounds of nitrogen <br />and 60 pounds of phosphorus per acre will be mixed with this topsoil. <br />Revegetation will be done as specified in the Reclamation Plan, <br />Section 2.05.4. <br />(6) Overburden <br />A narrative describing the removal, handling and storage of all <br />overburden material in the permit area. <br />(a) A surface blasting plan. <br />• Not Applicable. <br />(b) Descriptions and cross section drawings of the proposed <br />disposal site. <br />Grand t•tesa Coal Company has three sites in which proposed surface <br />disturbances will take place. ':he three sites of proposed surface <br />disturbance are the proposed sedimentation pond, the proposed <br />portal and yard area for access to the Red Canyon ~2 Mine, and the <br />proposed underground development waste disposal site. <br />Refer to the Proposed Surface Disturbance Map, 2.05.3(2)(b)-.l, for <br />the location of these proposed sites. Overburden will be removed <br />by means of a dozer and transported with an earthmover. Labor <br />and equipment will be contracted work as Grand Mesa Coal Company <br />does not have such equipment or the skilled .laborers. <br />• One site in which overburden will he removed is in the proposed <br />sedimentation pond site.
