• 2.05.4(2)(f) <br />(f) A description of measures to be employed to ensure that all <br />debris, acid-forming and toxic-forming materials constituting a <br />fire hazard are disposed of. <br />Waste as discussed in 4.11.4 was disposed of at the Delta County <br />Landfill. The underground development waste was disposed of <br />according to plans discussed in Section 2.05.3(9). <br />(g) A description of the measures to be used to seal or manage <br />mine openings. <br />Sealing the "E" coal seam shaft consisted of constructing a double <br />concrete block (16 inch by eight inch by eight inch) wall at the <br />base of the shaft. The wall was laid with mortar joints in <br />substantial roof and floor and notched into solid rib. The shaft <br />was backfilled and a concrete cap was placed on top of the shaft <br />opening. <br />• <br />• 135a (Rev. 3-29-96) <br />
