Lamm <br />Governor <br />M E M 0 <br />T0: Robert Liddle an~& M Exploration File <br />FROM: Susan Mowry, Reclamation Specialist <br />DATE: October 18, 1983 <br />RE: Proposed Monitoring Plan, Fish Creek Project <br />File No. CX-169-08 <br />P & M has proposed a Sand hill Crane monitoring plan in conjunction with <br />their seismic and drilling programs to be conducted this past summer and <br />fall. <br />Their exploration program is designed to minimize impacts on Sandhill <br />Cranes known to nest in the area and the monitoring program will gather <br />data on the affects of exploration on these birds during brood rearing. <br />Currently no data on this subject is available. <br />With this monitoring plan as an integral part, the Division can determine <br />that this Notice of Intent, No. CX-169-08, is acceptable. <br />The plan is described in further detail in the July 26, 1983 letter from <br />John Monarch to myself, found in the file. <br />I gave John verbal approval of this plan on July 27, 1983 when he submitted <br />the map to accompany his letter. <br />SM/yt <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
