Representative Samtling <br />Samples and measurements taken for the purpose of monitoring shall be <br />representative of the monitored activity. <br />?. Aaalyt'_cal and Sampling `!ethods for `!onitoriag <br />z^aiytical and sampling methods utilized by the discharger shall <br />conform to Colorado Regulations for Effluent Liaitations (10.1.5), and <br />to regulations published pursuant to Section 304 (h) of the Clean :inter <br />Act. <br />The analytical method selected iot a paramenter shall be the one that <br />can measure the lowest detected limit for that paramenter unless the <br />state standard is within the testing range o: another approved method. <br />3. Records <br />• <br />The permittee shal'_ establish and maintain records. Those records <br />shall include the following: <br />a) The date, type, enact place, aad tine of sampL'ag or measurements; <br />b) The individual(s) who perforaed the sampl_ag or aeasurements; <br />c) The ante(s) the analyses were perforaed; <br />d) The individual(s) who performed the analyses; <br />e) The analytical techniques or methods used; and <br />f) 'She results of such analyses. <br />The pexmittee shall retain for a miniaua of three (3) years records of <br />all monitoring ia_`oc-at'_on, including all original st-'_? chart <br />recordings for continuous moaitoriag_nstrumentation, all ca_i:zratioa <br />and maintenance records, copies of all reports required by ta_s permit <br />aad records of a'_1 data used to complete the a7olicatioa .cr th_s <br />permit. :his per'_od of reten[ion s:zal_ be extended during the course <br />of any unresolved litigation regard_ag the disc`.aroe o= ?ol:utaats b~ <br />the permittee or when requested by tae Division or Reg'_oaal <br />Administrator of E?A. <br /> <br />Code: i - 22 Date; 1 - 84 <br />
