"Shut Down" notices will be given in writing by the District <br />Ranger or his representative. <br />13. Operations will not be allowed under muddy or wet conditions. <br />14. If sufficient water is discovered, ARCO and the District Ranger will <br />work together to determine and implement methods of making this water <br />available to cattle and wildlife. <br />T5. Erosion Control - The permittee shall be responsible for the prevention <br />and control of soil erosion and gullying in the area covered by this <br />permit and lands adjacent thereto. <br />16. The proponent shall notify the Paonia District Ranger or his representative <br />within one week of when operations are to commence on National Forest lands. <br />Notification shall also be given as in the preceding paragraph when the <br />project is complete and before rehabilitation equipment is moved off the <br />project area. <br />17. Work will not be allowed past October 1, due to anticipated wet weather <br />conditions. An extension of this period may be authorized in writing by <br />the District Ranger, if weather permits. <br />
