You should determine what type of financial warranty you desire <br />to use and obtain the appropriate forms from the Mined Land Reclamation Division during <br />the application review period to facilitate finalization of an acceptable financial <br />warranty and permit issuance. <br />Compliance with Other Laws <br />Section 115 of the Act requires a permit application be in compliance with all <br />applicable local, State and Federal laws. We suggest you contact the following agencies <br />to determine whether you need to comply with their legal requirements: <br />State Engineer with regard to the administration of water rights; <br />Colorado Department of Health with regard to the discharge of pollutants into the <br />waters of the State; <br />Colorado Department of Health with regard to the need for a fugitive dust permit; <br />and <br />U. S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding a dredge and fill permit, <br />*If they applicant is a unit of State or county government, then only a performance <br />warranty is required. <br />(Rev. 7/86) <br />2823E <br />
