Plar%(Section 2.05.4 of permit) that major disturbed areas will be returned to their approximate original
contour (emphasis added) and that:
"if the long-term spoil pile should become inactive or both A- and B-Pits would be completely
reclaimed before the long-term spoil pile would be completely utilized, the remaining long-tetra
spoil area soils will be graded and tied into the undisturbed natural terrain, and then scarified,
topsanded, fertilized and revegetated."
Based on this approach, Tetra Tech has revised the facility Reclamation Contour mtd Drainage Plan map
(Appendix Q-1 of the Annual Hydrology Report [AIIRJ). In general, the attached revised permit map
shorti•s the proposed AOC raised approximately 2.75 feet from the currently-permitted AOC in the LTSP
area. The revised AOC elevation contours were developed to minimize potential impacts to the current
drainage plan and allow drainage from the LTSP to the permanent west perimeter ditch and then to the
permanent Sediment Pond 2. The proposed AOC reflects fifteen (15) inches of topsand to be placed
above [he overburden as final cover in the LTSP.
Tetra Tech appreciates the opportunity to serve your environmental and engineering needs. If you have
am' questions regarding the proposed AOC revisions, please contact me at 303-312-S7S7.
Respectfully,
Tetra Tech EM Inc.
Todd Bragdon, P.E.
Project Manager
Attachments: Revised Reclamation Contour and Drainage Plan map (Appendix Q-1)
Electronic copy of letter report (floppy disk)
S:',Projec[ICEClaocrevision.doc
