18 <br />• January 31, 1997: Submission of full report of cultural resource inventory, reseazch design, and <br />testing and treatment plans for review by proponent and Colorado State Historic Preservation <br />Office. <br />Spring 1997: Begin field work as soon as weather and soil conditions permit. Additional <br />inventory to be started as soon as possible; implementation of testing and treatment plan as soon <br />as Colorado SHPO review is complete and plan found to be satisfactory. Field work will include <br />all investigations for the 1997 development azeas, and as much of the 1998 development azeas <br />as feasible. <br />June 31, 1997:. Completion of field work for 1997 development azeas and submission of <br />preliminary report to Colorado SHPO. <br />July-December 1997: Submission of samples for outside analysis, receipt of reports on ancillary <br />investigations, completion of in-house lab analysis. <br />March 1998: Completion of final report on 1997 investigations. <br />March 1998 and beyond: MAC anticipates that the scheduling of each field season's investiga- <br />tions will proceed as for 1997, with field work commencing as early in the spring as practical <br />and necessary, the fall devoted to analysis and receipt of outside consultants' reports, and the <br />winter and eazly spring taken up with completion of a final report on the previous season's <br />• investigations. <br />End of project: At such time as all investigations have been completed, and within the guidance <br />of the reseazch design, it may be appropriate to prepaze a final, comprehensive report of all <br />cultural resource investigations at the Lorencito Canyon Mine. This can be accomplished within <br />one yeaz of completion of the last phase of investigations. <br />• <br />
