9 <br />• historic structural sites aze present and aze unevaluated pending contact with previous owners <br />about the history of the sites and the azea. <br />The full report on the cultural resource inventory will include a research design and more <br />detailed discussion of National Register eligibility. A few of the eligibility recommendations <br />given in this document may be changed at that time, based on the research design and additional <br />information. <br />Results <br />Inventory <br />Approximately 1765 acres have been inventoried for this project. Ninety-five sites and <br />66 isolated finds have been found in this area, all are newly recorded. No previously sites aze <br />present within the project azea. A summary listing of all sites is presented in Appendix B. Of <br />the sites, 90 are prehistoric, one is historic, and four have both a prehistoric and historic <br />component (several of the prehistoric sites have isolated historic artifacts, these are not considered <br />to have historic components in this summary listing). Ninety-one of the 94 prehistoric sites or <br />components aze cultural material scatters consisting of some combination of chipped stone <br />debitage, chipped stone tools, and ground stone. Cairns of unknown origin are present on several <br />sites. The cottlmonality of ground stone artifacts is striking in this group of sites.
