ill iiiillllllllllll RECE-vEa <br />999 <br />MINED LAND WIiDLIFE STATEMENT/EVA1,uATION~Revised) <br />AUG 1 9 1gg~ <br />for limited impact and select regular mine applications <br />Mined Land <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provi~lajpn DiViSiOn <br />use by Mined Land Reclamation Board in their consideration of a <br />mininc~ permit for: <br />Keeling Gravel Pit; T29S-R60W-NE1/4NW1/4514• File No M-91-081 <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) <br />Wildlife epeciea List: Mule Deer, Mountain Lion, Coyote, Bobcat, <br />Cottontail Rabbit, Mourning Dove, Red-Tail Hawk. <br />Endangered/Critical Species/Impacted: None Known <br />Critical Rabitata/Vegetative Communities Impacted: None <br />Assessment of Impact: Negligible impacts to the wildlife resource <br />as proposed. <br />Mine Reclamation Recommendations (include key species/habitats for <br />which restoration is designed): Stockpile topsoil and reseed with <br />a temporary seed mix if stored for an extended period of time to <br />prevent loss and erosion. Reseed the site with a native seed mix <br />per SCS specifications. Recontour the site with slopes not to <br />exceed 3F[:ly and fence the site to exclude livestock until such <br />time as vegetative cover is adequate, per MLRD standards, to <br />release bond. <br />Prepared By: Lonnie Brown.
