<br />EXHIBIT C -Mining Plan <br />The pit will continue to operate annually. Estimate life span of 15 years, however <br />this will depend upon the debth, quality and quantity of gravel. The site has 6" to <br />12" of top soil, the grass and same crops growing now.. The county will stockpile <br />what top soil that will be removed at the time of mining. Reclaimation will occur <br />as the depth of gravel is exhausted. Plant growth and top soil will be reinstated <br />immediately after the gravel is exhausted at a thickness of approximately 4 to six <br />inches. The stockpile of topsoil will be seeded to Western Wheatgrass, using a <br />grass seeding drill. Beading rate will be 9.48 PLS. <br />The estimated depth of gravel is 22 feet. <br />Access is currently available from Sedgwick County road 12. A trail road is <br />maintained into the pit site. Stockpiling will be placed for easy removal by <br />loaders and trucks. .- <br />There will be no water at the site, we will not wash gravel. <br />Because of the location very little water if any will cross the site. There are only <br />small drainage ways that cross the site. These drainage ways may pass a small <br />amount of storm water in thunderstorm conditions. <br />The gravel will be stockpiled with a dozer and loaded on trucks with a wheel <br />loader. We will not wash gravel, or chemical treat gravel for any reason at any <br />time. The gravel from this site will be used for improving the surface of gravel <br />roads in the county, and repairing water damage due to excessive rainfall. Some <br />of the gravel may have to be screened and we will have to move a small <br />screening plant in from time to time. <br />
