BOX 212 <br />Antomto, CO 81120 Michael e. long <br />/ Division Director <br />Re: Robins Pit No. 1, File No. M-2002-014, Receipt of 110 Construction Materials Reclamation <br />Permit Application Package <br />Dear Mr. Robins: <br />On February 14, 2002, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your the 110 Construction Materials <br />Reclamation Permit Application package for the Robins Pit No. 1, File No. M-2002-014. Preliminary review <br />of the information received determined that the following items must be received before the Division can <br />consider your application as being submitted and technical review can begin: <br />EXHIBIT B -Site Description (Rule 6.3.2(a)): You must address Item (a) to the extent necessary to <br />demonstrate compliance with the applicable performance standard requirements of Rule 3. At a <br />minimum, you must include a description of the vegetation characteristics in the area of the proposed <br />operation. The local office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NAGS) may provide you <br />with this information as well as recommendations for Exhibit D -Reclamation Plan; <br />EXHIBIT B -Site Description (Rule 6.3.2(b)): You must address Item (b) to the exterrt necessary to <br />demonstrate compliance with the applicable performance standard requirements of Rule 3. At a <br />minimum, you must identify any permanent man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of the <br />affected area and the owner of each structure. Permurent man-made structures include houses, barns, <br />fences, above or below ground utilities, irrigation ditches, maintained or public roads, bridges, wells, <br />pipelines, water storage impoundme~s, railroad tracks, cemeteries, and communication antennas, etc. <br />Each structure should be located on Exhibit E -Map; <br />EXHIBIT B -Site Description (Rule 6.3.2(c)): You must address Item (c) to the extent necessary to <br />demonstrate compliance with the applicable performance standard requirements of Rule 3. At a <br />minimum, you must give a description of the water resources m the area of the proposed operation. <br />Idemify any streams, springs, lakes, stock water ponds, ditches, reservoirs, and aquifers which would <br />receive drainage directly from the affected area. Provide any information available from publications <br />or monitoring data on flow rates, water table elevations and water quality conditions. <br />EXHIBIT E -Mao (Rule 6.3.5): (1) In addition to the requirements of 6.2.1(2), you must provide a <br />map that clearly describes the features associated with the mining plan and the components of the <br />Reclamation Plan. Include one map for the mine plan and one map for the Reclamation Plan. The <br />map(s) must be drawn to a scale no smaller than appropriate to clearly show all elements that are <br />
