Len, a registered professional engineer, registry number 75750, in the state of Colorado, certify that <br />the Explosive Area (Magazine) Access Road was resurfaced in accordance with our recommendations outlined <br />in Exhibit 25G. The convactor resurfaced approximately 1700 to 1800 lineal Feet of roadway. The portion of <br />the roadway resurfaced started at the intersection with the Pond A Access Road and terminated a[ the <br />magazine area. <br />We inspected the subject roadway on September ~, 1996 to verify [hat the road base gravels were placed and <br />compacted to a[ least 95% of the mod~ed Proctor density determined in accordance with ASTM D1557. We <br />also verified [hat [he contractor had placed the required amount of base course gravels, 4 inches. <br />The contractor had placed a 4 to 5 inch thick layer of base course gravels over the existing gravels.
