Pond 9A TSS, Daily Max. 70 88 <br />TSS 30-Day Average 35 RS <br />'total Iron, Daily Max. 7.0 8.44 <br />30-Day Avcr. 3.5 8.44 <br />Pond 005 is remote from the developed mining area and was inaccessible until several days after the storm <br />event. I[ was not observed discharging, but a careful examination alter the roadway was reopened, <br />indicated that it probably had discharged. No mining related disturbance has occurred in this drainage <br />(other than pond construction). <br />Ponds 007A, 008 and 009 and 009A all discharged through their emergency spillways. Ponds 008 and 009 <br />also experienced Flow over their embankments with some erosional damage to their oulslopes. The <br />metering weir at 009 was washed out of position. The storm event exceeded the regulatory pond design <br />criteria. All damage has been repaired and the ponds are now functioning ns designed. <br />An analysis for Total Manganese was not performed on the samples submitted to the lab.. Lorencito <br />regrets the loss of this data and has instructed the lab to perform this analysis in the future.
