• Oakridge Energy, Inc., whose office is located at 4613 Jacksboro Highway, Wichita
<br />Falls, Texas 76301 (telephone (940) 322-4772) has filed an application for a
<br />technical revision to a valid existing permit for the Carbon Junction Mine (permit
<br />C-92-080) with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. The subject of the
<br />revision is as incidental boundary change to the permit boundary, excising
<br />approximately 7.87 acres from the permit area. The legal description of the revised
<br />permit area is as follows: a tract of land located in Section 33, T34'/sN, R9W, Section
<br />33, T35N, R9W, and Section 4, T34N, R9W, North of the Ute Line, New Mexico
<br />Principal Meridian, La Plats County, Colorado; being more particularly described

<br />to the point of beginning, containing 215.08 acres, more or less. The surface owner
<br />of the property is Oakridge Energy, Inc.. The U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangles titled
<br />"Durango East" and "Loma Linda" contain the permit area of the mine. The mine
<br />site is located two miles southeast of the Durango city limits, midway up Carbon
<br />Junction Canyon, on Ewing Mesa. This is approximately one mile east of the
<br />Highway 160-550 business route junction, lying one mile east of the Animas River.
