Exhibit C <br />a. The projected date to be finished is September 2005, but is not bounded by <br />that date. The life of the mine is the final date. <br />b. 12 to 16 inches of topsoil will be removed and stockpiled near the outer <br />boundaries of the permitted area; or as construction material is removed and <br />room made on the floor of the pit, some may be stockpiled there. It will be <br />piled away from erosion areas and the vegetation will come from natural <br />rangeland seeds in the topsoil. <br />c. Overburden thickness will run from 0 to 60 inches and it will be sold as fill and <br />used in dam material. <br />d. The thickness of the construction material to be mined is 21 feet. <br />e. Roads and access routes currently exist. There are no buildings or facilities <br />and no underground openings. <br />f. On the easterly side of the pit there is an excavation of about one acre 15 to <br />20 feet deep (shown in Exhibit E). <br />g. There is a road out of the excavated area 12 feet wide. There will be no <br />improvements or newly constructed roads. There is no runoff or conveyance <br />structures now or to be included. <br />h. There will be no water used. <br />i. If groundwater is encountered, it will pumped out from a sump hole or <br />channeled through a drainage ditch or pipe to a natural drainage area or left <br />to evaporate. <br />j. If water is used or found Rowe Gravel will contact Colorado Water Resources. <br />k. If toxic or acid materials are exposed we will contact the Colorado Mining and <br />Reclamation Board. <br />I. The stock pond at the bottom of the pit will control water damage and the <br />reclaimed slopes will control erosion. <br />m. The gravel is to be crushed on site of sold as pitrun. A jaw crusher, cone <br />crusher, or roll crusher will be used. <br />n. Construction material and fill dirt are primary commodities. No secondary <br />commodities are known of. <br />o. If incidental products are found the division will be contacted for advisement. <br />
