Typically the surface layer is mildly <br />to moderately alkaline, gravelly and/or cobbly loams, <br />clay loams, or sandy loams about 2 to 5 inches [hick. <br />The underlying material is moclcratcly to strongly <br />• alkaline, highly calcareous very gravelly and cobbly <br />loams, sandy loams, or loamy sands to depths of <br />30 inches or more. They generally occur on slopes <br />greater than 10 percent. <br />Tridell soils arc ~cncrally on slopes of 0 to 8 <br />percent. Typically [he surface layer is mildly <br />alkaline loam about 6 inches thick. The upper subsoil <br />is mildly alkaline loam about 5 inches thick. The <br />lower subsoil is moderately to strongly alkaline <br />cobbly light clay loam about 5 inches thick.
