It is
our intent to fulfill your permit requirements as required with this additional
information.
The existing vegetation information should have been included with our
original application and identified as exhibit 'I'. An additional copy of
this information is enclosed.
The existing and final topography has been added to the enclosed revised
plan map and is identified as exhibit 'C'. Also note the map scale has been
changed to 1":100' to meet your requirements.
Our annual minning operations at this pit range between 1 and 2 acres per
year. The operation is also conducted on a year round basis and 4" to 6" of
top soil is usually removed if it is not needed for binding material in the gravel
material.
Please be informed that we also plan to use the Soil Conservation Services
recommendations for the reclamation of the pit area.
A question I have is in regard to your objection of borrow pit cleanings
for top soil if we do not have enough top soil on site for a seed bed.
It is my opinion that with the enclosed plan map and the above information
all of your required items as detailed in your correspondance have been completed.
