Office of state archaeologist -purpose. Thcrc is hereby estab- <br />lished the office of state archaeologist, which shall be a section within the <br />society in the department of higher education. Stale archaeologist -appointment -qualifications. Tltc board <br />of directors of the society is hereby authorized to and shall appoint a state <br />archaeologist pursuant to the provisions of section 13 of article XIl of the <br />state constitution.
