Examples of Right to Mine Clause <br /> <br />Right to mine, <br />remove ore and <br />all coal and <br />other minerals <br />I. The grantor hereby gives Pittsburg the exclusive right <br />(a) to prospect said premises for coal; (b) to mine and <br />remove from said premises all coal which, in PiTts- <br />burg's judgment, is merchantable, commercially avail- <br />able and economically recoverable by strip, surface, <br />open-face, quarry, shaft, slope, drift or any other <br />mining process (other than NC2 - combustion or <br />gasification); and (c) To store upon, transport across, <br />prepare for sale and sell upon and from said premises <br />all coal so mined and removed from said premises as <br />Pittsburg's own property and all coal mined and <br />removed by Pittsburg from adjoining or nearby lands <br />hereinafter mentioned. <br /> <br /> <br />REVISED 7/81 <br />I. Right to Mine <br />Subject to the purchase by Lessee of the surface of <br />said land appropriated therefore pursuant to the rights <br />reserved to Lessor in said deeds, Lessee is granted the <br />exclusive right to mine within the exterior boundaries, <br />extended vertically downward, of the land described in <br />Section I hereof, and remove by open face strip pit, or <br />underground method of mining, or any other equally <br />good process of mining, all the coal herein leased. <br />~• 13 <br />
