Box 13 <br />Gunnison, Colorado 81250 <br />Re: Dickerson Granite Pit <br />Our File No. 78-305 <br />Dear Mr. Formaz: <br />On January 25, 1984, the Mined Land Reclamation Board approved your 110 permit <br />application for the Dickerson Granite Pit and set the amount of the Financial <br />Warranty at 55,000.00. Upon receipt, review, and approval of such a Financial <br />Warranty and a Performance Warranty from your company, the permit for this <br />operation will be issued to you. As I understand it, you have already <br />received the appropriate warranty forms. <br />During a formal public hearing held that same day, the Board moved to levy a <br />civil penalty of (2,000.00 against Formaz and Son, Inc., with all of this <br />penalty to be suspended 1f an acceptable warranty package is received from you <br />and a permit Issued before next month's Board meeting (to be held February <br />22-23, 1984).
