as established reclaimed areas awaiting reclamation bond release, are inspected weekly. Any
deficiencies noted during any of the inspections were corrected promptly.
C. RESULTS AND INTERPRETATION OF ANY STORMWATER MONITORING..
Sediment Pond 001 and 007 water discharges was tested weekly for the parameters listed in our
NPDES permit. All samples passed the water quality parameter set by our NPDES permit.
Ponds 008 failed the one and only W ET test for the year. Cause was believed to be the practice of short
circuiting 'clean` pit water through the discharge structure without letting it have sufficient time to
stabilize. The practice of short circuiting the pit water through the discharge structure was immediately
suspended and no further discharge of water was allowed through Pond 008.
There was no significant storm events in 2008, All ditches and sediment ponds functioned properly.
Pond 002-008 were basically dry throughout the year. Pond 001 and 007 continue to discharge all year
long and water quality is measured and recorded as per our NPDES permit.
Monitoring Results Attached?
