RECLADIATION COSTS
The two consecutive phases requiring the greatest amount of reclamation
work are Phases 1 and 2. In addition, 1.65 acres will be disturbed by stock-
piles for part of the life of the mine. Of the 3.55 + acres to be revegetated
in Phases 1 and 2, all are slope areas that will require some backfilling and
grading to create a topography that is compatible with the final land use.
Reclamation costs are based on the following data: PER ACRE
1. Backfill and reshaping, 4 hrs @ $50/hr. $200.00
2. Final grading or ripping, 5 hrs @ $50/hr. $250.00
3. Grass seed mixture, 21.6 lbs/acre @ $5/lb $108.00
Fertilizer based on soil test dificiencies - estimate 20.00
