~~,I/t5~ Colorado Gravel Products Inc.
45247 Hwy. 112
Center, CO. 81125
S~ Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan
1. We state there is one post mining use Rangeland. We will keep wildlife In mind and
try to establish a wildlife friendly envoirment. Wildlife habitat is not a post mining use.
The wildlife habitat area is a temporary set aside area to help establish the live
snowfence and to improve the scenic view along the highway frontage. That area will
be mined and reclaimed as rangeland.
2.The operator has explained previously that Wildlife Habitat is not a post mining use.
Reasons are this is a high mountain valley dessert with two inches or less of annual
rainfall with most of this moisture coming in the winter months leaving a hot and dry
summer. Trees and shrubs without irrigation stand very little chance of survival. This
property has a small amount of irrigation water available, the operator feels this water
is adequate to maintain the live snowfence. Also the operator would like to note that
this area is an agriculture area with heavy aireral spraying, also decreasing the
chance of surv'Nal for any trees or shrubs in this area.
3. Seven pounds is the total weight of seed per acre.
4. This operator is aware that the NRCS did not recommend any use of fertilizer. As we
stated, if soil tests reveal a need for fertilizer, this operator wants to have that option
available. So for bonding calculation we state there will be no ferterlizar applied.
5. Eight pounds per acre. Corrected reprint enclosed.
6. Seed Varieties and brand names are.
Bosoisky -Russian wildrye
Critana - Thickspike wheatgrass
Arriba -Western wheatgrass
Jose -Tail wheatgrass
7.Our future land use is Rangeland. We designed this seed mix with live stock in mind.
We feel Rangeland as a future use will be more profitable and practical for this
operator in this particular area.
