<br />.~ ..~..._~~~v_-: <br />• .. <br />County: Rio Blanco <br />-UT-ORI=..~ ICN -;, 715C~AA:,ii UNDe3 -:._ <br />COLORADO IJASTEI+IATER DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEH <br />In compliance Nit` the provisions of Che Federal Water Pollution Cenerol <br />,pct, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et. seq.; Che "Act"), and the Colorado Water <br />Quality Control Ac*_ (25-8-101 et. seq., CRS, 1?73 as amended) <br />Western Fuels - Utah, Incorporated <br />is authorized to discharge from their Deserado coal mine, <br />located in .Sec. 6, T2N, R100W; Sec. 31, T3N, R100W; Sec. 1, 2, 3, 4, T2N, <br />R1!)1W; Sec. 23, 32,.33, 34, 35, 36, T3N, R101W, approximately 9 to 14 miles' <br />northeast of Ran~ely, CO <br />to tributaries to Red Wash and the FThite River, and to Scullion Gulch <br />in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements and other <br />conditions set forth in Part I, II, and I11 heraof. <br />This permit shall become effective thirty (30) days after the date of <br />receipt of this permit by the Applicant. Should the Applicant choose to <br />contest any of the effluent limitations,~monitorirg requirements or other <br />conditions contained herein, he must comply Nith Section 24-4-104 CAS 1573 <br />and the Reeuiations for the State Discharge Permit System.
