THIS PERMIT is issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, DepartrneM of Natural Resources,
State of Colorado.
RECITALS
A. The Pemrittce, Randy Perdue desires to conduct a musing operation Imown as Perdue, for the
purpose of extracting Sandstone (silica, stone, quartzite). The Pemrittee will not mine any secondary
commodities at this site.
B. On September 11, 2000 the Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board") approved the
PermitIee's application for this permit, fixed the amount of the financial warranty and directed that this permit be
issued upon the filing with the Division of Minerals and Geology (the "Division's of performance warranty and
financial warranty (or warranties) ut the amount so fixed in form and substance approved by the Division. Said
warranties have beer[ filed with the Division.
C. if the Permittee desires to extract materials other than those listed in (A), a separate pemtit may
be required.
D. On September 11, 2000 the Board made the following findings:
1. The apphcation for this pemvt wmplies with the requirements afthe Colorado Mured
Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Corrstnrction Materials, C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sew., as amended, and
with all apphcable local, state and federal laws;
2. The operation will not adversely affect the stability of any significant, valuable, and
pemtanerrt man-made structure located within two hundred fcet of the Affected Land, exult where there is an
agreement between the Operator and the persons having an interest in the structure that damage to the sWdure is
to be corrrpensated for by the Permittee; and;
