TARAMARCAZ PIT
EXHIBIT D - Wildlife, Vegetation and Soils Information
The current use of the proposed pit site is agricultural
use. Paul Taramarcaz uses the site as a spring holding area for
his cattle. The area has sparse vegetation cover. The main
species is sage brush. There are some grasses, but not many, as
the site sees heavy use .\n the spring.
Because of the heavy spring use and the close proximity to
the Highway, there is very little or no use of the site by deer
and elk.
The site has a thin layer of soil which will be used in
reclamation.
EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan
The pit site will be reclaimed with 2 to 1 slopes on the
North, East and South sides. The bottom of the pit will slope to
the West at a rate of approximately one (1) inch to the rod.
This will give the site the general appearance of a large three
(3) sided bowl. The topsoil will be replaced to a depth of 6 to
12 inches. Reseeding will follow the Soil Conservation Service
seeding plan attached.
J
