<br />EXHIBIT D: RECLAMATION PLAN <br />1.) <br />a.) The topsoil of 6" will be salvaged for use only in reclamation. The topsoil will be <br />timely replaced as mining continues. It is anticipated that stockpiled topsoil will <br />cover all exposed slopes after mining. <br />b.) The reclaimed slopes will be placed to a minimum of 3:1. <br />c.) The salvaged topsoil will be replaced at 6" depth. The seeding will be done upon <br />completion of excavation. Site will be chiseled and disked after topsoil placement <br />and prior to seeding. Seed will be drilled. The seeded land will be mulched as <br />needed. There will be no trees or shrubs planted on this land. The grass mix and <br />seeding rate will be recommended by Logan County NRD and is enclosed in pages <br />following this exhibit. Fertilizer will be used if soil conditions warrant the use. Seed <br />will be drilled. <br />d.) All access roads will be reclaimed in the same manner as the mineral land. There <br />will be no structures remaining on the permit site. <br />e.) The area where topsoil was stockpiled will be chiseled and reseeded. <br />f.)
