Enlargements and
changes of diversion points are not included in this table.
Records of the Colorado Water Resources Division were also searched to
determine the existence and location of wells in the study area. well of
record in the vicinity of the permit area are listed in Table 2.5-7 and their
approximate location is shown on Exhibit 2.5-11. The records indicate that
the McDaniel well is located in an area previously mined and destroyed.
There are insufficient data on the well permits to determine the
geologic formation in which the wells were completed. Judging from the depth,
most of the wells obtain xater from near surface alluvial or terrace
materials, but soma wells are evidently completed in bedrock. In addition to
the wells of record listed in Table 2.5-7, two shallow wells exist at the
Green Ranch and on at the Gabossi home, both within the Trout Creek Valley
west of the permit area.
Water consumption at the Edna Mine consists of a maximum usage of
• 4,552,000 gallons per year for road watering and the office/bath house
facilities.
