KUIPER <br />State Engineer <br />As requested by your office, we have reviewed the renewal permit ~Ippli- <br />cation for Specification Aggregates, Inc. Before recommending approval <br />of this application, we need the following additional information: <br />1 . The Soil Conservation Service suggests that seeded <br />portions of the reclaimed pit should be irrigated for <br />two years . What is the proposed source and con- <br />sumptive use of this irrigation water? <br />2. The reclamation plan states that Jackson Gulch will <br />be reconstructed with check dams. What will be the <br />total surface area of these retention ponds? Will <br />these ponds permanently store any water?
