SUGGESTED PUBLIC NOTICE FORMAT For Limited Impact operations, this notice must be published once a week for two consecutiv weeks, the final date of publication being no later than 48 hours prior to the date for Board consideration of the application. For all other operations, this notice must be published once a week for four consecutive weeks, the final date of publication being at least twenty days prior to the date for Board consideration. All notices must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the proposed mining operation. (Full details in RULES 2.2 and 3.2). E Recorder where operation will occur or the above-named applicant. ~~ Objections must be filed with the Mined Land Reclamation Board by 5:00 PM on Month, Day, Year - See note below ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: For Limited Impact operations, the final date for filing objections is 5 days after date of last publication or prior [0 48 hours before the Board meeting, whichever comes first. For all other operations the date is calculated by adding 20 days to the date of the fourth publication. - Please refer to RULES 2.2 and 2.3 for Regular Applications and, RULES 3.2 and 3.3 for Limited Impact Applications. In addition to the public notice, the applicant must mail a copy of the notice after first publication to all owners of the surface rights of the affected land and to the owners of record of immediately adjacent lands. Proof of the notice and mailing, such as Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested (where possible) must be provided the MLR Staff and become a part of the complete and adequate application before consideration before the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
