u
MONITORING LOCATIONS
GROUND WATER
A number of wells are used for monitoring the ground water. These include wells specifically
installed for monitoring purposes as well as water supply wells. The monitoring well {ocations
are shown on Map 11. The well designations are marked at each location. The sampling
frequency and type for each station are shown on Table 1 along with the aquifer.
SURFACE WATER
One stream is monitored for flow and water quality. It is the Williams Fork River. The monitoring
locations are shown on Map 11. The locations include those at which the U.S. Geologic Survey
is operating surface water stage height gauges and recorders. Those stations are not part of the
CEC personnels' responsibility and are shown for informational purposes only. Each CEC
surface water monitoring station is marked with a stake and station designation, except the
information is written directly on a pier at stations located next to bridges. The sampling
frequency and type for each station are shown on Table 2.
NPDES DISCHARGE POINTS
• Eighteen NPDES discharge points are regularly monitored. The locations are shown on Map 26.
Flow rates and water quality are measured regularly at tour sites. The sampling frequency and
type for each of the lour sites are shown on Table 3. Certain sampling is performed by
Commercial Testing Labs (CTE) and the information on these sampling locations is presented
for informational purposes only.
TR 94-23 Ex.29-2 Revised 5/6/94
r~
u
