<br />Del Norte Pit -The soils at this site are tlortr-Pu,tul caraplex, Dunul
<br />cobbly sandy loam and Derrick cobbly loam. Petail.ed descriptions are er
<br />attached. All of these soils ha•re very little gnrxi tc~psoi.l ac can be he
<br />noted by the sparse vegetation adjacent tc the nits. This is al^,o due or
<br />to the very low annual precitation in the area. '°his pit is surrounded
<br />by r.•urgelasd, The native vegetation adjacent tr, the pit consists of n,
<br />rabbitbrus},, kochia, ,•ussian thistle, squirrel tail, sunflower, daisy, :st
<br />blue grana, sleapygrass, pigcreed, and prickly pear ~a=tus, In the very
