1.2 (Continued) APPARIIVT ADF~UACY REVIE~Y RESR"xISE
• Slope measurements are sham on bshibits F-2 and F-3 of the
l6 June 1980 permit application. As explained on pp. F-1 and F-2,
Chapter F, slopes in the area to be affected by surface operations
were summarized from measurements made at 100 ft intervals.
Northern feels higher resolution of slope angles is impractical,
since the physiography is so variable as seen from any of the
topographic maps of the area. 1Y~e slope measurements made at
100 ft intervals have taken into account the multitudinous natural
variations in slope and the slope classes provide an accurate
representation of the range of natural slopes and reflect geo-
_ nnrphic differences of the area to be disturbed.
•

F-2a
